Free college education

Alison college in Ireland offers free college education by means of online distance learning. We strongly recommend anyone anywhere to make use of their services in order to develop one's professional knowledge. Even if you are serving in full-time Christian ministry you can benefit from studying psychology, social work, project management, healthcare and so on. All courses are completely free. Free ministry and Bible college training

As about 60% of pastors are untrained worldwide and half of all churches lack ministers there is an urgent need for more to be trained. It has been the desire of Africa Outreach to set up such a training but as we did our research we discovered that a dear Baptist brother in the Philippines has taken the initiative. Who are we and what do we do?

AFRICA OUTREACH was established in Malawi in 2004 by Afrika Zending, an interdenominational faith based mission in the Netherlands in 1997 with long and short-term missionaries from various African and European countries serving in mission together in Southern Africa. Since 2011 Africa Outreach has become an independent organization registered in Malawi as a social welfare organization. The organization continues to work in partnership with Afrika Zending as well as other agencies. We work various communities and with leaders from many different churches including Presbyterian/Reformed, Baptist, Evangelical and Pentecostal churches.

VISION

Africa Outreach seeks to build the capacity of the Christian Churches in Southern Africa so that they are better able to serve their communities and nations spiritually, socially and materially and to help the most vulnerable groups in their society

Activities:

We organise seminars and workshops on a bi-weekly basis to train church and community leaders so that they can serve their communities better. In addition to the capacity building of local Christian leadership we have established a rehabilitation centre for girls who found themselves in abusive situations such as domestic violence and prostitution. We also established two safe houses for children who have been accused of witchcraft to prevent them from being mistreated or murdered by the community.

Partners:

We partner with child care organizations in orphan, human and children's rights organizations, foreign donors and aid organisations as well as local government agencies.
